I can provide limited legal services to assist you with your family law matter, such as specific meetings, negotiations, or legal advice, document preparation or review, and limited representation in court for a conference or hearing. I can also provide advice and litigation coaching to help you represent yourself in court or at a hearing. These services aim to provide affordable legal guidance and access to justice in family law, tailored to your situation and budget. My focused and practical coaching can help you better navigate the complex family law process.
Please feel free to get in touch with me to know more about the following services:
- Unbundled legal services (limited scope retainers)
- Parenting coordination
- Consultations
- Second Chair Program (for newly called lawyers): The second chair program of Legal Aid Ontario allows new or mid-career lawyers to benefit from the knowledge and experience of senior lawyers. With one lawyer serving as the 'second chair' on a case, new or mid-career lawyers have an opportunity to obtain hands-on training from more experienced counsel to allow them to better serve the needs of low-income clients. The program is directed exclusively to private bar lawyers working on Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) funded cases.
- Coaching and Advising for Lawyers (Coach and Advisor Network): The Law Society's Coach and Advisor Network (CAN) provides lawyers and paralegals with access to shorter-term, outcome-oriented relationships with Coaches and Advisors drawn from the professions. Coaches support the implementation of best practices and Advisors assist with substantive and procedural law inquiries on client files.
